Trenton Ray Strickland, age 22, of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday, December 9, 2016.

Trenton was a native of Wayne County, North Carolina. He loved to fish and ride Jet Skis on Lake Gaston.

Trenton is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kimberly and Barry Kidd; his sister, Mikayla Mishler of Scotts, Michigan; brother, Sebastian King of Roanoke Rapids; stepsister, Rachel Kidd and stepbrother, Ethan Kidd, both of Roanoke Rapids; his maternal grandparents, Kimbo and Sue Turner of Roanoke Rapids; uncle, David Turner and his fiancée’, Shawna Christie of Goldsboro; special cousin, Jasmin Turner of Goldsboro, and several other special cousins.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
